Healthy Breakfast Recipes

It’s true what they say, Breakfast IS the most important meal!

When you wake up from your sleep, you may not have eaten for up to 8 - 10 hours. Breakfast replenishes the stores of energy and nutrients in your body.


Many studies have linked eating breakfast to good health, including better memory and concentration. So, check out some of our favourite healthy breakfast recipes that we have available on the app!


Protein Pancakes If you're a sweet tooth, then you are going to love our protein pancakes!

Protein Pancake

You will need:

1/2 cup Oats

1/2 cup Almond Milk

1 Egg

1 scoop Protein Powder

1/2 cup Frozen Berries


Method: 1. Blend oats into a powder. Add milk, egg, protein powder & blend until smooth.

2. Lightly grease a pan then pour pancake mix into centre of the pan. Once bubbles appear, flip and cook the other side.

3. Microwave some berries, and place them on top of the pancakes. Enjoy!


 

Breakfast Rolls

This delicious savoury brekky is the perfect grab-and-go option!

Healthy Breakfast Rolls

You will need:

1 Wholemeal Roll or Muffin

1 serve Baked eggs*

1/2 Avocado smashed

1 tbsp Tomato Relish*


Method:

1. Prepare baked eggs, or substitute for scrambled/fried eggs.

2. Cut your roll through the middle.

3. Assemble egg, avocado and tomato relish (or fresh tomato)

Berry & Banana Oats

Oats are a great option for anyone who might be time-poor in the morning. They're a quick and easy breakfast option, plus they can even be prepped the night before!

Healthy Morning Oats

What you need:

1/4 cup Rolled oats

1/4 cup Almond Milk

1/2 cup Frozen berries

1 Banana

1 tbsp Protein Powder

1 tbsp Chia Seeds


Method:

1. Microwave oats with 1/2 cup

water for the 90s (or cook over the stove)

2. Mix in the chia seeds, almond

milk, berries, protein & nuts!


*Feel free to top with your favourite fruit or toppings
